The term ‘sportsmanship’
Sportsmanship may, to some, seem sexist. It is certainly not meant to be sexist. Sportsmanship applies to males and females equally. ‘Sportspersonship’ sounds too cumbersome. ‘Man’ is used as it is shorter and really refers to our species.
